Northcliffe Outrigger Canoe Club takes great pride and pleasure in inviting members from your club to compete in the 14th Annual Gold Coast Cup. Held on Saturday 17th April 2010. The course this year has been extended back to the original 43km's Ultr-Marathon, making it the longest change-over race in Australia.

Saturday morning showcases the OC6 (9 men, 10 women, 5 women and 4 men mixed) changeover race. This race is set up to maximise the best paddling conditions available. Canoes will be set up on beautiful Greenmount Beach, at the southern end of the Gold Coast for new staggered race start times. Female and Mixed crews will head off at 8:00am Male crews start at 8:30am.

Lined up for the start off Greenmount Point, changeover crews race out in an southern direction to a designated buoy just prior Cook Island, back to the starting area, then north along the spectacular Gold Coast beach line past Surfers Paradise to the Gold Coast Seaway. Once through the Seaway teams enter into the Broadwater, for a flat-water dash to the finish line at the Southport Spit (Northcliffe Outrigger Canoe Club).
